Behind any election campaign are the political strategists working to ensure they get their party gets into power.

For the 2015 campaign, the Labour Party is using former Barack Obama adviser David Axelrod while the Conservatives have Lynton Crosby.

The BBC's Joe Lynam asked Australian senator James McGrath, who once advised the Tories, how he felt the campaign was going for them.
