Statement Regarding Assisted Suicide Legislation

I have received a lot of feedback regarding Senator David Leyonhjelm’s Restoring Territory Rights (Assisted Suicide Legislation) Bill 2015.

I appreciate there are strong views regarding this Bill and the issue of euthanasia and assisted dying more widely.

I will not be supporting Senator Leyonhjelm’s Bill.

I do not and will not support euthanasia in any form.
